Daftar Nominasi dan Pemenang Critics' Choice Awards 2018

'The Shape of Water' membawa pulang piala Best Picture dan Best Director dalam Critics' Choice Awards ke-23. Berikut daftar lengkap pemenang.

Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) telah mengumumkan pemenang untuk Critics' Choisce Awards ke-23 kemarin malam (11/1) di Barker Hangar, Santa Monica.

The Shape of Water, yang memperoleh nominasi terbanyak, pulang dengan membawa piala terbanyak pula. Totalnya adalah 4 piala, termasuk dua piala paling bergengsi, Best Picture dan Best Director untuk Guillermo del Toro.

Menyusul di bawahnya, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri dengan 3 piala, yaitu dua kategori akting untuk Frances McDormand dan Sam Rockwell serta 1 piala Best Acting Ensemble. Penggenap pemenang kategori akting adalah Gary Oldman sebagai Best Actor untuk Darkest Hour dan Allison Janney sebagai Best Supporting Actress untuk I, Tonya.

Seperti biasa, Critics' Choice Awards punya kategori genre. Wonder Woman menjadi Best Action Movie, Get Out menjadi Best Sci-fi/Horror Movie, dan The Big Sick menjadi Best Comedy.

Meskipun anggotanya adalah kritikus yang notabene tak tergabung ke dalam guild industri (apalagi Academy), tapi tebakan BFCA lumayan tokcer. 8 pemenang Best Picture mereka berhasil pula menjadi Best Picture Oscar.
